hi im new to driving tractors. i went to school for 6 weeks i passed my ally dock and straight back but i failed my road test. i have a problem with stalling and coasting. i have to take my test again but i have to pay 50$ and with out any more practice im not sure i will ever pass. i dont know any one in my area who has a tractor for me to practice on. does anyone know of a company that will hire me just with my learners permit? im taking my endorsements now. Tanker, double triples hazmat i already have p and air brakes i havea class b also drove city bus for 7 yrs. also i do have 2 felonies however i never spent time in jail i had probation for both and im done with it. receiving and buying stolen goods 2010,and second degree assault 2010 im from the dc md va area by way of pa and would like to stay in this surrounding area. i have a kid in dc im trying to get back to but it seems this is getting difficult. can someone please help with some advice?

Did you get pre-approval from any companies before you went to school? I would get rid of any ideas of what you will or won't do until you have a minimum of 6 months but more likely 1-2 years experience. The companies that will take someone with 2 recent felonies are few and far between, especially given the nature of the crimes. I would suggest not wasting time on the school you are at and finding one of the big companies like Schneider, Swift, Prime, or CR England that has their own school and go there. This will secure a job for yourself and the road test will be easier so that you can start earning money quick.
