New (to me) van purchase/opinions

Hey all... quick question looking for opinions. Looking to get a replacement van.

2014(or newer) Sprinter? 4cyl or 6?

2015(ish) Transit? EcoBoost or not?

I’m mainly looking at short wheelbase/tall roof. I run all my miles at about 8k pounds gross (depending on fuel level, lol).

I appreciate any opinions/experience/discussion.

Just so you know 8000 pounds in a van will get you pulled over fast.

I was talking gross... total weight.... not load.

You still want to weight the van with you, your gear and a full tank of fuel. Take the total and subtract from your door sticker. That will be your true weight limit.
