I've written a couple of posts ......... but still a "pre-newbie" and doing my best to become a real onE,

A company in KY might hire me as a 1099 Independent Contractor as a driver of one of their Sprinters - they own the fleet ....... they have ask me to "be ready" when they call - that I MUST have a work comp policy all lined up, so when (if) they call I'll be ready.

To date I've checked with a few agencies ....... they will insure fleets - not one person. Like any insurance company they need to spread the risk.

Does anyone know of a W/C policy or something very similar, a name, phone and email so I can get the ball rolling ?

Thank You guys (and gals),

Zack

W/C is very expensive. I just talked to my insurance agent about that yesterday. there is another thing that You can use insteed. "occupational exident insurance" You can use it as an alternative for W/C. It will cost You from $118 to $148 a month depending on the plan You pick. Try to call this # 1-800-932-4801 ext. 330 and ask Tracy company name is "Blue Beacon ins."
They also do W/C.
