OK Now I know alot of this may sound stupid but they say the only stupid questions are the ones not asked.
I will be retiring soon from my present job ( I operate a train ) and am intrested in getting back into trucking. Many years ago I drove for a friend of mine at a moving company ( unverifiable ) and then drove local in NYC metro area.What I would like to do is expidite. I would like to run primarily from NYC metro down to Georgia where my children and grandchildren are. I would also like to occasionaly go other places but when I do not want to work I do not want to have to!!
Money will not be a problem because I will have a pension and I will have my own finances I think I would like to go with a van but am willing to go as high as a regular rig but would rather stay small. I work now for a major brueaucracy and definatly want to avoid that at all costs. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
