I have been driving an 18 wheeler for 2 years. I drove 1 year OTR and now drive local. I have been considering going back OTR for a year or more and saving up some money and buying a straight truck.
I have a few questions that are quite loaded but I would appreciate some input.
1. What would one expect to pay for health insurance beingan owner operator/how much for insurance to cover the truck?
2. A nice reliable straight truck falls in what price range?
3. I would like to own my own truck but what companies offer decent lease programs and what are the pro's and cons of either?
