As the title says, I'm looking for a solo straight truck job. That in itself isn't a hard thing to find, really. It's finding one that fits my needs.
I need a solo position with a passenger and pet policy, that can get me down to the Houston area once a month. I was accepted to XPO a few months ago, and explained to the recruiter that my wife will be with me and she does not drive. He failed to tell me they do not have a passenger policy. I only learned this from a fleet owner, and then called the recruiter to confirm, then he decides to tell me the truth.
Now I'm looking for another company that fits the bill and having very little luck. If anyone knows of a company, or even better, if any fleet owners out there need a solo driver...
