I think it's completely bogus that the Heisman is given before the season ends. It's not labeled as the Best Player of the Regular Season award, it's an MVP award. Joe Burrow had a fantastic season, he deserves all the applause. But think of this .... if Trevor Lawrence is somehow able to pull this off, he will be undefeated in the NCAA for his career - two straight undefeated season, two National Championships! He will have beaten the #2 ranked Buckeyes and the uber talented #1 ranked LSU Tigers on the way to his second championship .... and no Heisman on his trophy shelf.
In the pro game the MVP will probably go to Raven's QB Lamar Jackson for his regular season performance. But his sub par play in the playoff game coupled with great play of other MVP contenders makes it an interesting argument who is most deserving.
It's just a running joke on Michigan blogs that there is a slight resemblance. They call Orgeran, Cajon Hoke. It's funny because it's true. But congrats to Orgeran for persevering and winning a championship.
