Looking to get a GPS and am considering the Magellan RoadMate 760 or the Tom Tom GO 700.

Has anyone used either one and what are the positives/negatives?

Thanks for any info!

I have posted on this before, I am not happy with my new Megellan so if your gona invest make sure you can take it back if your not happy. I would buy one model try it for a month and than the other.

I have the Magellan 700 (older model I suppose). I love it.

Garmin 2620 is also very nice.

I was looking at them a few days ago. Both Garmin and Magellan had very nice units for around $800 at Circuit City. I'm going to look again at them but will probably go with a smaller handheld since I have S/T on the computer and don't need two full feature GPS systems.

I have co-pilot truck (live) with gps, on my laptop. No problems with satelite drops. Wife loves it ,talks to her all the time, keeps her on route and singing with xm radio, so i can sleep. worth the cost from alk industries (online).
