More watchouts and learnings

The good news is I just got confirmation all my materials have been shipped so I am on the road to repair. Here is another lesson I have learned recently. The truck in the freightliner here in Cincinnati is down due to some mysterious engine problems. This is a long story so I am going to try and shorten it and if it turns out to confuse instead of help contact me off line and I will give you all details.
I lost the driver of that truck in late November. I put in a new driver under my contract and they went to Orientation. I check on them afterwards only to be told when asked of their plans they told E1 they were going home until after Christmas. I was upset but said whats done is done. 12/27 comes around still not rolling. 12/28 E1 got them a load through here for so I could apply new permits. Then the truck heads to Dayton sits there for one or two days and runs a load to Princeton, In. I talk to the driver there get some long stories and next time I check they are at home in Terra Haute. The truck sits there two days then I tell the driver I have to let you go and per our contract you need to get the truck back here or to E1. Two more days go by driver calls and says your truck will not run and it is leaking all kinds of stuff everywhere. Thats why the truck was towed to Cincy. By the way the driver called last Friday wanting their pay. Hmmmmmmm. Lesson? Don't fire your driver out of town. I am a trusting sole and this is something I knew could happen but just never dreamed someone would do this to me or would it happen to me. Did the driver tear up my truck? I will most likely never know but I am now a much less trusting person than I was the day before all that happened.
Now you need to know I am one of the most positive thinking, most well planned, look at all the angles person you will ever meet. I am also one of the most unlucky and mentally beaten people you would currently meet. I will end my three lessons by saying, be sure to listen, as S%^T does happen.

Yeah I hear you. It is not good and it is slow getting better. This is kind of stuff you hate to go through but I chose the job and now I gotta live with it. Thank God I love it when it works. This is the kind of thing that tests you.The Owner who once went by RACEMAN but due to the outcome of the Nextel Cup, am now just 6.
