Yellow Duck
(Latin name: Yelloweus Duckious)
Habitat: Mainly inhabits the swamps and dark areas around the Metropolitan Washington D.C. area

They are a rather pompous bird, with a rather loud obnoxious call. They are prone to much posturing and chest puffing.

They are also a very secretive bird, often found to be most active in the dark of night to conceal their activities. They are fond of sneaking about to accomplish their needs.

Their mating cycle is never ending and quite indiscriminate. They mate with any sex of any species. Reproduction is NOT always the goal of their mating ritual and they seem happiest when "screwing" a bird from a opposing flock.

They are not a particularly brave species and are more likely to "buy off" an opponent rather than stand up to it.

They have infrequent migrations to the area that they used to reside in. While the reason for these migrations is not actually known it does appear to be in part related to the mating ritual and have been known to "rob the nests" of other species to in rich themselves or other members of their flock. They are a very greedy species and will take as much as they are able to unless birds from opposing flocks stop them, often by force.

One of the more popular nicknames for the species is "Lame Duck". While the exact origin of the name is not known it is believed to refer to their weak nature and inability to perform under pressure.
