It was not captured..

So, it was, repeat was alive, and it is a dead bear now. If it was a monster bear, why not capture it for all to enjoy or just let it live. So Billy bob the bear hunter kills an 800 lb pound bear,,,hmm

I'm not against hunting, but what do we do with a 800 lb bear, cut off its head, cut off its paws for cupholders, oh, yea, spread it out on the floor so macho rug man can lay on it? I guess...monster bear would like like having folks walk on him or her..

There are plenty of deer, guess no monstrous one left now. People eat deer, guess they eat bear to...............o well, men cut off deers heads and their paws too.

Bear is good to eat, the hide, with head attached, will likely be made into a rug. You don't eat the hide, head or paws. There are still PLENTY of "monster bears" in PA. They grow them VERY big there. There is no shortage of bear in PA. They have a season every year, for decades. The population of bear keeps growing and they keep getting bigger.

The bear harvest there is quite large, did not have a clue,,,well it is a culture thing in Pa.

I have seen some REALLY big bear there. REALLY big. Had a "small one" on my back porch when I lived in Oil City, about a 300lb sow.

FUNNY STORY about "city duds" and bear in PA

I used to work at Moraine State Park in PA. It is a LARGE park, 23,000 acres. Pretty wild. One afternoon a couple, man and woman, came riding up on their mountain bikes, out of breath, ALL scared and excited! The man said "We just saw a bear!" I said "Yes, there are several that live in this park" He said "The state ALLOWS bears in a park?" I asked, "Are you from Pittsburgh?" "Yes" he said. "That explains it" I said, I started laughing and went back to what I was doing.
