Missouri flooding up-date

The state of Missouri has been declared a disaster area by Pres. Bush.
If your traveling anywhere on the eastern 1/3 side of the state, be aware of the conditions from Fenton, Mo. just south of St. Louis, all the way south to the Ark. border. I-55 is open and dry with no problems but be careful on secondary roads especially in S.E. Missouri from Cape Girardeau to the Ark. border.
The Cape area, and south, alot of the secondary roads are flooded with the Mississippi river still to crest. Last I heard the Miss. river was at 39 ft. above flood stage levels and not expected to crest until Tues. 3-25. Their expecting flood stage to rise over the 40 ft. mark. Cape Girardeau County and Scott County are the worst hit in the area.
Several secondary roads have bridges washed out or water still over the roads.
If you have to come into this area, it's probably best to call the Missouri Highway Patrol for local travel restrictions and road closures.
Just wanted to give everyone a 'heads-up' to how it is here.
If your on I-57 in Illinois, most of the flooding and water problems start near Carbondale, Ill. and south from there.
