Hav'nt been on here for a while, been on the road, there seems to be a lot of new companies popping up. If it was hard trying to make it in a van then, its gotten even harder, I've learned the hard way-first hand.
Expediting is Hot..its easy money and there is a lot of promotion for it ... It will only grow ..the promos are targeting retirees and peoplle who cant do th 9to 5 deal anymore ..It is a great life ..but word is out .. Big riggers retirees ,old 9 to 5 ers are catching on ..Who cant drive a van or a sraight truck ( ever rented a U-Haul) I personally think the big money has been made already ..the ones who were doing it early on did well ..Now that everyone wants to do it ..well do the math ...10 available loads 50 trucks/vavs .. think of it like realestate..it started getting hot in the 90's .the ones that were in it made out great ..It caught on and then everybody and there brother got their realestate liscence... .. do th math ..10 houses to sell 50 realeaste agents... you know.. there is a finite amount of loads ...
Dont get me wrong ..you can sill make a living ..but I think of it as if im going on the road ..I want to make far more money than I could being at home ..H$ll i dont want to make the same pay . I could be home every day two days off, you know ...Im out to make some bank...
