WOW!!! I feel loved! :) Usually people reward me for staying away! lmao! Have the blonde stand there holding the meatloaf and I will do my roadrunner imitation. }> }> I am a sucker for a good looking woman holding a plate of food :p

Believe it or not Mike and I have actually been busy hauling freight! I think there was a screw up and FECC let us make some money. (Personally I think our owner has some photographs of a highly placed person involved with several farm animals. I cannot see how else we would have gotten so lucky.)

On top of it my laptop has been on the fritz, our mouse died. the little critter started acting like a UAW worker and wouldn't move or function.

We are alive and well and fat and sassy.:+

Either it was the farm animal thing getting you moving or FedEx higher-ups are just discovering how bad their own contractors knock them on this forum:+
Glad to hear you are alive and well. If the bankers allow me to I will be running a brand new KW T300 like yours soon based on the compliments you and others on the forum have given it. Test drove one in Ft Wayne today and didn't want to get back in my FL70. Big difference!
Thanks-

Weave,

Glad to hear you liked the KW. After driving the T300 for nearly 2 years, the only thing I can think of that a FL-70 would be useful for is a paper weight or a urinal. :p }> (I would say boat anchor but tree huggers get upset with polluting the water!) The only compliants I would ever have with the T300 is the narrow walkway between the seats (But you get used to that) and the position of the am/fm radio. (The only thing I liked about the FL-70 is the radio mounted above.)

Jeff there at Fort Wayne Kenworth is a good guy. Easy to deal with. I would reccomend him highly.

Just watch yourself when you exit the cab on the drivers side. It is easy to hit your head on the mirror support. Mike has rung his bell several times on that. (Didn't hurt his head any but knocked the chrome off of the support! :+ )

I started laughing when I saw your T300 picture- That EXACT one is for sale on consignment at Ft Wayne truck center right now. It is a 2001 with 36k miles on it. The fellow who bought it can no longer drive for health reasons- he said to make him an offer. The graphics are from the show circuit. I would buy that one but I have a truck I need to trade. I'll bet the guy will take $55k for it. It has some options such as dual exhaust (for show) a utility box, and some niceities inside. The new one I'm buying is the "starter" model.

Oh, it was leased to FedEx but they did a great job removing the decals- I could BARELY see the shadows on the box.;-)
It has a qualcomm sysem installed the fellow must have owned.

Boy I wish I could say that was our truck in the photo! Ours is a 96, all tired and dog eared. It has more battle scars than The USS Intrepid. (From the previous 8 drivers)

Mine is mechanically sound but cosmeticaly it could use a makeover. But I know a day in a beatup T300 is better than one is a decked out FL-70 :p

Here is our truck.
