hi all

i'm looking into expediting and i live in new york city. i have my cdl permit going for my class "b" w/ hazmat. since 1998 i've driving vehicles from cargo vans - 24 ft. straight trucks for moving companies and other delivery companies. what are my chances in working for any expedite company out this way. i never had any accidents, or dui/dwi. i'm familiar with filling out a log book and getting familiar with dot regs. I don't own my own truck of course a "d" unit would be my preference. but i was wondering if any companies out there have a truck leasing or buying program.

Erod,
Many companies would have a spot for you in your area. You need to call the individual companies that sponsor this site, some do have leasing opportunities. Most companies also have owners that are looking for qualified drivers to run in their trucks.
Make some phone calls and you'll land where you want to be.
