Log books in Alabama

I have running a cargo van for 16 months,and have never logged in Alabama,just to run Hazmat.Are suppose to run a logbook in Alabama?How about any other states?New to me???Thanks!!!!

I think that anytime a van runs a placarded hazmat you must log, of course there are times:+ I don't know what the h--- I'm talkin' about.

Ok. I gotta read posts better, you mean they want a log in a van all the time,what's up with that,they must be getting desperate for voluntary taxes.

YES van have to log in Alabama but I do not know of anyother state unless you have hazmat then you must log. But in Alabama you must log anytime your in that state.

Interstate cargo vans are also supposed to log in NY all the time, but I have not heard of them enforcing it here, though they might if you are pulled over for some other violation.
