over last 3 years i have looked at that board if you have anthing smaller than a 22footer you waste your time and money.
if you have tractor i dont know i didnt pay attention to that freight

A better stratagy may be to contact Load one, Panther, tristate etc and let them know you are out there with your own authority. get the contracts set up and a way for them to know where you are at any given point. If they do not have a driver in the area they will come to you to get the load covered.
This will take time to make the contacts and get the confidence levels needed by these carriers. Most loads in this business are from the automotive load boards and inter carrier hand-offs.
Most of us just lease to carriers as there is a psuedo "good ol Boy" network that takes time to penetrate. I wont say it cant be done but you will be a "Starving Artist" in expediting until you are known and trusted.
