Load Question

Does anyone know anything about (straight-truck) loads headed for the Eastern Shore in Maryland? Just trying to find out if it would be a lot of deadhead miles living here... I've looked around but didn't see anything that looked very promising on getting in and back out again...

Thanks, Ange

Landstar Express America for the last 30 days there were around 100 loads leaving the Baltimore area in a 200 miles radius and around 125 loads coming into the same Baltimore radius. They were just Expedited loads and probably were more as some never get posted plus there are loads from other divisions in Landstar that would be available for you.

The toughest thing is to get loads to a specific location and date. It’s like looking for a cop and they just aren't around until that time when you don't want them.

Thank you.. and very true on both counts... :)

your going to find in expedite, loads happen at an instant, they come and go every where, but you just dont know when it will happen.I just loaded to buffalo a load I picked up in cambridge md,pretty close to the eastern shore, and have delivered many loads to that same area.expedite isnt regular freight, expedite happens when the shipper has to have a load delivered at the last minuet, and a regular carrier cant pick it up or deliver it on time, and you will find,if you wait anywhere long enough, you will get loaded, but its a waitng game, its not anything anyone can guarantee
