Load board questions

I would like some input from members who use load boards.

Do you have any suggestions and experience with load boards and what are your favorite and most reliable boards.

Also, do you have any brokers you would want to share info on that are good to work with.

I have a 2006 Sterling 24-foot straight truck I am looking to keep moving with less deadhead miles in between runs.

most of the loads on the load boards are already given out before you even see them,its a common to get you to call,then your offered freight they cant get rid of
if you plan on doing back haul loads,i suggest you find a broker that you trust,and work with them
another problem with broker loads is getting paid,in years past,ive had money on my books for months,wrote them off as lost revenue
over the years ive found in the long run,your just as well to wait for that expedited load,you may have to sit,but the extra pay is well worth it

I understand that most of the loads on the load boards are already given out before you even see them,then they attempt to shove off the really low paying loads.
I am working to find several brokers to work through as well and could use some input from others on who they have used good and bad.
As far as getting paid I would factor 'some' of those backhauls just to increase the overall cash flow into the truck.
Give me some input on some good brokers and some good load boards.

it is true most of the loads are gone when you call.

But loadboards are a great way to get your company name out there by posting your truck as available in a certain city then they will call you.I run mostly off load boards just to find my backhauls and factor all my loads I book that way.
