I am reading all about ALGORE’s Live Earth this July 7th and wonder a few things.
Why isn’t this happening on Earth day?
Why is there a charge of over $100 per person to attend if they are trying to get a message out?
With all the combined money participating in the concert, who is being paid?
Why don’t they just film PSAs and other informational spots instead of jetting around the world, creating more pollution and trying to recreate a failed attempt to raise awareness?
The scary qoute of the day is "We hope the energy created by Live Earth will jump start a massive public education effort.
Live Earth will help us reach a tipping point that's needed to move corporations and governments to take decisive action to solve the climate crisis."
Remember that this is modeled after Live Aid which helped only briefly and has been since forgotten.
