Light bulb replacement behind gauges?

We have a Freightliner 106 and two light bulbs just blew out behind the air pressure gauges. We can not figure out how to replace them? Do we have to buy the entire dash unit? The bulbs appear to be incased within a plastic unit with no way visible to open it up?

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if the 106 and Century Class is similar enough for this to apply but let me share this anyway, just in case.

Century Class Freightliners have a section that snaps out of the dashboard to access certain components. After snapping that piece out, if you look at the bottom of the opening, you will see a clear plastic tube. It looks like the tubing used in hospitals when they stick an IV in your arm. Freightliner puts it there as a tool for you to use. You push it over the tiny light bulbs and use it to extract the old and insert the new.

It is there to use instead of a screwdriver or needle nose pliers or anything else made of metal that you might be tempted to use. It is a precautionary device to help drivers and mechanics avoid shorting out their dash board units.

A little farther afield from the original post is a note to truck buyers. When we bought our truck, we paid several hundred dollars extra to also get the parts manual and shop manual for the truck. When something like what McBride is asking about comes up, it can often be answered by refering to the books (on CD) that we carry in the truck. Drawings in them would provide an instant answer to the question McBride asks. Part illustrations and part numbers are also great to have when calling ahead to a dealer to see if the part is in stock. When you and the parts guy are on the phone and looking at the same picture, errors and misunderstandings are less likely to happen.
