Brought to you by the motorola lapdock 100. I opted for the smaller lapdock which has less features, but it really fits the bill for in truck use. My computer stays in it's bag ready for the excursions away from the vehicle. The lapdock stays mounted in the vehicle. Phone processors will have to improve to make this a whiz-bang set up, but even at the edge of this phone's processor capabilities, it let's me smoothly stay on top of my email, news, weather, mapping and the occassional futurama episode.
For the most part the gadget looks like a netbook with a 10 inch screen, and the smart phone plugs in and acts as the computer processor. The phone display is what shows on the lapdock's screen. The parts I like are the physical keyboard, and a connection for a regular wireless mouse. USB slots let me import from a thumb drive. Easy stuff.
