Kudo's to a former carrier!

Here's a twist:
I would like to thank my former carrier publicly. It is rare to have something nice to say about a carrier you have recently left. Three weeks ago I left Transtewart. I was with them for a little over 4 months. I had been with Expressway for almost 3 years prior to that(My first carrier).

I'm now back at Expressway. I was concerned that Transtewart would hold up my escrow and final checks. I was pleasantly surprised to get all the payments owed and my escrow back within 3 weeks.

I will not publicly endorse or denounce Transtewart. If anyone is considering them I will tell them the good and the bad from my perspective via PM's.

I would also like to thank Rod, Steve and Betty at Expressway! They took me back and now I am back at home(or where I should have always been). I will say that that the people at Expressway are honest and caring individuals that I am proud to run for. They overlooked my "conclusion jumping" and general stubborness, at their business decision to change from 1.20 to a very fair (I didn't think so at first) 70/30 split. I am not sure if they are taking on drivers now, but if you are ever looking for honest operations, they are definately a class act.

I'm going to rock on millage and buy 4 more trucks just to get even with you . :)

I wonder if you can put into numbers the costs of changing carriers , since you are so quick on the trigger , for all to be aware off .
it might be useful for many to read.

To change back to Expressway, just a new DOT physical (really just needed drug screen but my medical card was expiring in a few months). No fee's from them of any kind.

When I went to Transtewart had to pay 300 for signage and a drug screen. They also had 1,000 escrow which I just got back. They took 100 per wk for 10 weeks.

I hope you are getting good miles there! I don't think that I am that quick on the switching carrier trigger.
