Irregardless, LDB comment was uncalled for.Fake News
Uncalled for but that didn't stop you from using it for leftism. I remember a time when there was some change in you and a small but noticeable glimmer of possibility. Too bad it's all gone and the old status quo returned.Irregardless, LDB comment was uncalled for.

Her record of going easy on child sex offenders is public knowledge.Great news for pedophiles everywhere.

It is quite public information and a good reason why she should not be a supreme court judge.#fakenews
Nope.....It is quite public information and a good reason why she should not be a supreme court judge.
But that isn't as easy as coming on an internet forum to spread continued crap.Did this judge go easy on sex offender sentencing or not? That seems like a pretty easy question to answer since the sentences imposed for specific crimes charged can be specifically quantified by the number of years and months of the sentence.
The Senate Republicans who expressed great interest in this topic compared Jackson's sentences to the federal sentencing guidelines. They did not compare Jackson's numbers to other judges, prosecutor recommendations, defense recommendations or others.
To get a truly informative answer to the question, "did this judge go easy on sex offender sentencing or not?" it seems to me one would develop a spreadsheet listing a number of judges and their sentencing practices, and Jackson's too.
To be fair, the question "easy compared to what?" should be asked. Easy compared to federal guidelines? The Senate Republicans stressed that statistic. Easy compared to other judges? We'd have to complete the spreadsheet to find out.
Why compare apples to apples when you can make your political point by comparing apples to oranges? But that isn't as easy as coming on an internet forum to spread continued crap.
Shouldn’t it be compared to federal guidelines? since that it the framework they should be using.Did this judge go easy on sex offender sentencing or not? Jackson's record is not fake and speaks for itself; there seems to be a pattern established in her sentencing methods. There are several examples of gross deviation from sentencing guidelines that give the guilty offender nothing more than a slap on the wrist rather than what was recommended. The end result for SCOTUS will be a moderately liberal justice being replaced by a radically liberal one.Shouldn’t it be compared to federal guidelines? since that it the framework they should be using.
What other judges do is largely irrelevant.
