Just a general statement about Express-1

What is with this company's policy of 2 year or newer cargo van and 5 year and newer straight trucks. Do they really think a brand new cargo van is worthless after 2 years? Crunching the numbers, an owner would take a pretty big hit with depreciation every 2 years. For example, a 2004 Chevy Express 2500 with 200,000 miles are regularly priced well under $10,000. So you are taking a $20,000 hit every 2 years on depreciation.

That is what they require for trucks signing on. Once you are on I'm sure you can keep the van longer than that. I do feel that the policy is overly strict.
