just a driver

Frank,
Can you give us a teaser as to why a driver paying for fuel and not just an owner / operator needs to either keep very good records or use a service like the one you offer for record keeping.

We all see the ads directed at the owner / operator but I think a driver could benefit from the services of a professional, and more than pay for the cost in "hidden" or overlooked deductions.

I'd like to see this as a front page story at some point directed at those who are "just drivers."

First of all if you are an owner or Owner/operator you must keep Exact and very Accurate books incase of an audit. the irs wants to see all, including your bank statements. if you are intermingling you personal and business in one account you will have problems at an audit

As far as a Company Driver, His Log books, and his expenses that he or she is NOT REIMBURSED FOR. if he is reimbursed he cannot take the deductions period.

there really is no story to just drivers. it s open and shut, see above.
