july 4th does anyone stay out is it worth it

So what do you think - is it worth staying out on the 4th or anyone staying home 1-4 or 3-4 or hey how about the whole week.......i think i will run as much as i can.

Fortwayne hi,Well when I was married I would run most holidays,But I wanted off Christmas no matter what,Sometimes I would try to take off thanksgiving If I had been running good and making money.But since I got divorced I worked all the holidays and take off later because most of the times they'd be only a few trucks running on the major holidays.Also I would never take off If I was on a hot streak and making money hand over fist...

you will find,most holiday weeks in expedite are busy,but this year the 4th is on a wed,if you not loaded by tuesday morning go home,my self im off for 10 days,gone racin

I ran there some the last couple of years. This year I am running at Pittsburgh Raceway Park. You ever run at Dragway 42?

When we got into this business, we were told it is usually slow the 1st 2 weeks of July (of course that was 3 years ago) so we take our vacation at this time. Came home on the 26th and won't be back until 7/16.

Right now we are getting ready for our annual 4th of July party, which is actually this Saturday. Then on the 5th we are heading to Vermont for a bike rally.

you will have to chase the loads...i am deadheading from jackson mississippi to michigan and wont get a load offer the whole way..all the boards are at 200% or more
