These directions were given by an Ontario inn . Zero speeding tolerance ? Tourists going 100 km/h and nearly being run over will wonder what other lies the innkeepers told .
"Toronto:
Take Highway #400 North to Barrie.

Just after Barrie take Highway #11 North to Huntsville. Go to the Highway #60 exit towards Ottawa and Algonquin Park (east).

From here you are about 25 minutes (please do the speed limit as the Ontario Provincial Police have a zero tolerance for speeding also there is always the danger of Moose and Deer on the highway). Stay on Highway #60. You will cross a bridge at Oxtongue Lake and we are the first place on the right hand side of the road, once you have crossed the bridge. "

Well the speeding part may be a wee bit of a story (except on 60), but the moose and deer actually are not. The deer are bigger than a smart car and the moose are the size of an accord. Hit one of those doing over 100kph and well the damage will have you visiting one of our fine body shops for awhile. Only good point is you get a holiday (bit remote up there) but great fishing!
