Have the blahs of January
finally set in?
As you watch and wonder
if you're taking it on the chin
Well have no fear
for without a doubt
The sun will rise
Dispatch will shout
And you'll be off
on a mighty chase
with a huge smirk
upon your face
The ice will melt
The snows will leave
and very soon will be
the pretty lime green trees
But for now it's ten below
the sun is pretty on the snow
But oh my Lord
it's blinding me
shaking off my winter blues
is not as easy as changing shoes
the boots remain my best friend
as my shovel does make a dent
Can't wait until I can people watch
and wave as front doors open wide
and all the folks do come out
and put their shovels aside
So happy January to everyone
