Its A Hard Knock Life

The life of an expediter isn't for everyone. It can be hard one week and very rewarding the next. I've had three co drivers quit on me cause they couldn't handle the hurry up and wait routine that us Pro's have mastered. I've met some couples that have quit their jobs, bought a truck with all the bells and whistles thinking the money was just gonna come rolling in like a stray dog at a picnic, only to go belly up and have their truck repoed and then return to their old jobs. I've heard other stories in which life savings were spent on a truck only to be stranded out in the cold in the middle of some small town out west cause there wasn't enough money to fix the blown turbo.

HaHaHa But you won't hear me tell a story like that cause I subscribe to Expediters Online, a free internet web site. They tell me everything I need to do right to become a successful expediter. Expediter Online has the some of the smartest drivers as members and the moderators really know what their talking about. Yes with EO as my business partner, I can't lose.

Hi Brandy! I was wondering what has become of you!!! Even though you do annoy some of the members on the site, I guess you're still kind-a like that way word child someone has. Ya know the black sheep!!! Glad to see and hear you are doing well and now have some responsibility, as a lead driver for a good owner. Last we knew you have a bad experience with the last owner you worked for.

Now most people that would read your post would no doubt think you were doing it as to joke or a cut up to EO, or those that told you the stories. I know you didn’t mean it in that manner at all. Glad to see you are still with us and are out there going so well.

you have missed quite a bit here in the forums, in the last 3 months. We added the Loading Dock Forum and a lot of good things are still being posted here. I don’t know how long you plan to stay home, but if you have time you may want to read the archives to see what you missed.

Just as OVM, AKA: Captain Cancuk, in your rating, that comment you made about EO is right on the money.

I noticed the new additions of topics in the forum section. I was checking the site out for three hours last night(oh God why is my life so pathetic), its great. I missed reading and replying to messages posted. Teacel you Lawrence, Weasel, RichM and the rest of the EO crew are doing a great job. Keep up the good work.

Good to see you back Sean,I think I must be psychic,just yesterday i was driving along on I 75 in Georgia and was wondering about some of the folks that used to post and now they are gone.I thought of you and Wild Bill among others and here you are back on.Glad to hear that you are doing OK.
