Went to see Olympus Has Fallen last nite with my woman and teen age kid. WARNING I dont recomend this movie for a Vet or anyone under age 18. OK I know when an enemy attacks there is some violence but almost fifteen minites of watching people getting blown to bitts? and the rest of the movie was quite violent as well. This movie was absolute garbage. I thought it would be a good movie as it had Morgan Freman and most of his films are decent. I was ready to demand a refund.
The storry line is like this.
A rouge North Korean terrorist army attacks Washington D.C. and over take the White House and takes the president and his staff hostage, and so on. Of crose the lone hero saves the day. HORAYYYY!

Now lets look at todays issues with N. Korea and lets just see how they match up to the days before 911 and the Iraq, and Afganistan wars why dont we..

For years the propagandists were screaching middle east is a breeding ground for terrorists and we as first responders along with recruited civilians practiced mass casualty drills in public often bassed on a W.M.D. attack. Hollywood produced several movies of middle eastern people hijacking attacking the U.S. taking hostages, and killing Americans. Sure enough 911 happened and we already know how it went down and who was blamed and after a few patriotoc songs on the radio we attacked the middle east in two long drawn out wars.

Today the propaganda machine is broadcasting North Korea is building nukes and theyre a threat to the United States, we as Americans have no truth about North Korea again for a reason. All we have are the mind sluts on the news networks. Holywood has demonized a country that our politicians paind an a threat. See the connection? The False flag will be happening soon and if you think the Constitution and Bill of rights have been violated? Wait and see what the task masters have in store for us.

If an enemy attacked and destroyed DC, they'd be doing us a favor.

Gee, 3 nukes blown up is kinda like evidence. Missiles being launched. No possible threat. Even if we left Korea. Did they move the Soapbox?

The point is, our fuher is talking of annother war with North Korea 60 years after having our aszes handed to us and we got out while were still alllive. We already tried this 1950 - 1953 when we actualy had a militarry and got our aszes kicked, then Veitnam same result as they were supported by China and Russia.
The reason we bailed out of Aisia is because the russians were going to side with the Chineese support the N Koreans and N vietnamise unfortunately the textbooks will never admit that.
It was common knowlege Russia had nukes and no problems bombing the U.S.A. Dose anybody realy think the N koreans are nervous abbout out militarry? At best our troops are being tolorated.
.
With a population of 1.3 billion adults and a standing army of, 2,285,000 compared to the USA 313,914,040 militarry of 1,429,995 even with the UK population 62,641,000 military of 197,780 we dont even come close. Russa 141,930,000 people and a militarry of 1,040,000 troops will join the chineese, Rest assured not all the dictatorship countries will side up with the North Koreans and Chinese. The numbers dont include the numbers of age available for service, and the anual recruitment rate that by far out number the U.S.A. and U.K.
Can anybody see maby invading North Korea is a verry bad idea?

The Movie is nothing more than suporting Propaganda for the aggenda.

The "war" never ended 60 years ago. There was only a truce signed. A state of war has existed this entire time. That "war" was a "hot" period during the "Cold War". It was not a "stand alone action" , just another "theater" in a larger conflict.

Whether we should be there is another argument.

True, at the same time this is somthing to aproach with extreme caution.
I agree that D.C. being eliminated will be a major favor. Maby we can have fredom again.

One can debate all day as to the merits of our military/foreign policy. Our government's track record is not all that good.

D.C., right now, is a bigger threat to our freedom than ANY foreign power is.

Bob Wolf,

YOur history is all wrong, we didn't LOSE the KOrean. We kicked the living **** out of North Korea and China, concurred the whole of N Korea and Mac Arthur said publically that he was going to invade China

Truman fired him, and ordered that the US army withdraw to the preconflict borders.

It certainly wasn't a loss. If anything it was another democrat foriegn policy blunder, but the war was won. Truman decided to give the territory back like a typical demo douche.

Close to what? Total number of troops? Wouldn't our technology and overall capabilities be more important?

For what it is worth. The movie was careful not to place blame for the attack on the North Korean leadership. The terrorist responsible was an ex N. Korean representing an independent organization advocating for a Reunified Korea.

The best reason to avoid this lame movie is because it requires a series of idiotic unreasonable decisions by the U.S. Leaders in order to make our hero turn out to be superman. Other than that, it is no more violent than G.I. Joe and provides testosterone boosting action of the same level. I enjoyed it from an entertainment perspective.

I don't see the "tipping us off" conspiracy theory as there is nothing new or outrageous presented. Just a movie.
