Massive new protests are springing up again in Iran. Six months ago we watched the Iranian government beat and kill demonstrators following a fraudulent national election. Some political dissidents disappeared... some were executed.
Regardless of the threat to their own lives, tens of thousands of ordinary Iranian citizens are confronting their government in the streets with demands for more freedom and reform. It is inspiring to see these Muslims tell their tyrannical leaders, "ENOUGH!"
Maybe, right there in the heart of radicalism Islam's Tehran, a reform movement will take root. The ruling theocracy will not go peacefully. I sense the protesters know time grows short for them. Because of the growing tensions with Israel over Iran's aggressive pursuit of a nuclear capability, the protesters have a narrow window of opportunity.
