NEED YOUR INPUT... I HAVE A 3000 WATT STAT POWER INVERTER IN MY TRUCK. IF I TURN IT ON, WHILE MY CB IS ON. I GET INTERFERENCE THRU MY CB THAT IS UN-REAL. I TRYED NOISE FILTERS AND EVERYTHING ELSE. BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO CURE THE PROBLEM. IT MUST BE PICKING IT UP THRU THE RF SIDE. ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE THIS PROBLEM? AND HOW DID YOU CURE IT?

Pal, you have a problem. I've been chasing rf noise from a 3126 cat for about 8 months.

You do have one big advantage. You know the source.

First, determine the path. Unplug your CB's antenna. If the noise goes away, you know that it is "broadcast" or over the air noise. If it doesn't, then the most likely culprit is the grounding system.

If it is broadcast, use a rf sniffer, and pin point the source. Source will determine solution. A good radio shop should have a "sniffer". Home made worked for me.

There are little magnets called ferrites that you can put on a wire that might help.

Good Luck!
