In posting images here in the forums, I see via the ? icon in Advanced the image size is limited to 620 x 280. So I always re-size my images so longest side is 620 or under, save them, then upload to my post.
I just saved an image without re-sizing and posted, to see what would happen, and it shows full size when clicked on, at 842px × 632px. I've had other images in past be re-sized by the uploader or by the site or something and end up tiny.
I'd love to have a bit larger images in some of my how-to posts, so am wondering what the right limit is, if any, for both dimensions and file size, or if there's a better way to upload images from my HD to a post.
