It has to better than the others, simple design, good engine.
Idle buster is an APU system. This system is not an APU. It is a battery powered system I believe. It might be good for an OTR truck that is not going to be parked for an extended time. For an expediter that might be parked for 24 hours or sometimes more it won't be a good system.

I think a good idea is to provide shore power to trucks like they do at RV camping stops. Truck pulls in, turns off, plugs in a 110/20 amp or 12 volt ? plug turns on AC goes to sleep or watches TV until ready to leave.If truck stops did this, and truck manufacturers made the plug and wired the circuitry, you would never have to idle for ac/heat/tv/fridge.
If they charged a reasonable amount that would be excellent. A truck couldn't use more than a quarter an hour of electricity so about a half dollar an hour would generate good profit and take care of the driver well. More likely they'd charge a dollar an hour which then makes it a higher price than running an APU.
