idea for your laptop in the truck

Hey everyone. Hope ya'll are doing well.
I have been seeing a lot of drivers having a hard time balancing their computers on their steering wheel lately.
I have a suggestion, and this is what we do while we're sitting.
Go to wal-mart and buy one of those little tables you use for eating in bed...you know, with the little fold out legs.
I have the Dell Inspiron, and it fits well, and there is room for the mouse pad. I also bought two rubber door stops to prop it up in the back to allow for air circulation and access to the usb ports and power plug in the back and the wireless card on the left side.
in my truck i have an adjustable steering wheel, so I tilt it all the way up and set the table on the wheel and the steering wheel spinner i have keeps it from sliding off.
Works like a charm, and I hope someone here can get some use out of it.
here what it looks like set up.

Considering the cost of the laptop holders designed for the purpose, that is a freakin brilliant solution! Thanks for the photos, too. :)

Well it helps to have a carpenter for a father. I have a fold-down desk where my passenger seat was. The laptop mounts on top when in folded up position- held in place by four 2" pieces of floor-to-wall moldings? Picture shows in use while turned sideways in my seat. Really like this: I can spread out and do a lot of paper-work on it. When folded up, I have lots of space below for a cooler, bag, etc. Perhaps I should patent it?
