Icy Roads

Today is the day I am supose to leave driving with my New Owner.
I woke up and went out to start my truck and almost killed myself. We have almost 1/2" of solid ice on everything. I hope this isn't a vision of things to come.
Freight should be picking up soon and we should be able to get some good miles under our belt.

Oh man, a fellow Michigander. Yep, I encountered the same thing this morning. I think my truck weighed an extra 2 or 3 thousand pounds with its cocoon of ice over everything. I could just barely lift the roll up door. Terrible driving on; 40 miles an hour from Lansing to Detroit, and I still got passed by semis like I was standing still. It will be melted by days end, fortunately.
