I have noticed 10 years is the maximum age truck you can own for some companies. Is this a hard rule or flexible. Also if you are with a company and your truck becomes 10 years old do they start to pressure you to buy a different one?

Most of the automotive plants require that the trailer or box of all vehicles be less than 10 years old. That is why the carriers mandate 10 years or newer.

I delivered and picked up so far at Chrysler, Ford and Toyota in my 2004 and nobody complained. I prefer not to go to some of these plants anyway, but I won't say 'no' to money.
