i have left fedexcc for

as of feb 12,2003 i'm with egl out of norfolk ,va station, running local and some long runs,

but i had a great 11 years with fedexcc/roberts express it was hard to leave,.

but when chance to running local came up again i decide not to past
it up.

first time i try it they didn't have freight to keep me busy,
and at that time found out to work for that company with the size of truck
i had i need to have my own premits, and ifa etc so i had to come back to fedexcc, and at that time egl didn't have comdata now they do and they now have ins like fedexcc does,
when you went to ins co and ask for ins they ask are you hauling hazmad
and you said when i'm empty i'm not and they said
if you haul hazmad any time we won't cover you

I run a van for EGL in Grand Rapids Mi. Get a nice mix of local and hot shot work. It's been real busy and they don't over hire which is nice. We have a good group of drivers who work hard so they don't feel the need to hire more and cut the work down. Hope gas prices go down soon so the profit margin can improve. Otherwise I am very happy with the company.
