how to make a gooseneck trailer to a 5th wheel step deck

i have a 45ft gooseneck that i pull with a single wheel freightliner i looking at cuting off the neck and making a 53ft step deck any body have any pics or have done it or know some body that will do it

You can buy trailers dirt cheap these days . You could probably buy a good 53' stepdeck for less than it would cost to do what you want . Trade that trailer in and you'll come out ahead for sure .

if i trade it in thay want to give me $4,800 and been trying to sale it with no luck so im just going to make it how i want it to be i know were one is for $6,000 but mine is in way better shape its a 88 model mines a 07 and mine is like new i havent even worked it yet mine is just a way better trailer

if you check on a forum with more hot shotters that use that type of equipment you might get more feedback. Are you just wanting to stretch it 8 feet?
