How do you make everyone happy?

I have a question for the owners out thair i drive for my dad and we have a good deal worked out between the two of us that makes us both happy my dad is thinking about puting another van on with panther and he was wondering how the 60/40 split works and if thair were any other options to look at as far as driver payment
he is in this to make money but he dosent want to short change the driver eather
any input would help him out alot
