On July 24, 2007 the United States Court of Appeals vacated the 11 hour drive time and the 34 hour restart provision. This ruling was slated to go into effect on September 14th. However, due to American Trucking Association's request for a stay of motion, the Court's original decision to overturn the 11 & 34 hour rule will not be implemented. The current Hours of Service rules will remain in effect temporarily until the Court decides otherwise.
