I have a friend who has a pacemaker . Do any of the companies have restrictions on becoming an expediter, and if so what are they?

Best thing to do is call the companies directly and ask them!
Some are more strict, some are more relaxed.
Tell them the circumstances of the individual. I know from experience that with Panther, if you have a cardiac history you positively need to take a yearly stress test (from your own physician or theirs) and have it completed before they will put you on as a driver......they won't budge on it at all. I don't think it's their decision, it's with DOT guidelines.
