definitely
Thanks spellcheck or spell check.

I thought I had that word down, as I tend to use it a lot in posting.
But after doing a quick check, I definitely do not, as spell check corrects it so fast I never noticed I was spelling it wrong all these years. Talk about reinforcing poor spelling

--according to a survey reported in The Daily Record in June 2009, definitely is ‘definately the most misspelled word in the English language’. Despite being in widespread use, the misspelling definately comes in for considerable scorn. The Urban Dictionary has a separate entry for definately, which it defines as: ‘Idiot-speak for “definitely”. --

Came as a surprise to learn that Definately (how I always spelled it)...is not a word.
I must of missed that day of school :ohsnapcouch:

Here’s a help for “diesel”: as a German name (Rudolf Diesel), the first syllable (die) is pronounced “dee”. If it were spelled Dei-sel, it would be pronounced “die-zel”. In other words, the exact opposite of English
