Hasan Planned Attack

This shouldn't come as a big surprise, but additional proof of the premeditation on Nadal Hasan's part has surfaced in this Al Jazeera interview with Anwar al-Awlaki, the radical imam that counseled Hasan.

"...his first message was about the ruling of a Muslim soldier serving the American Army, killing his colleagues..."

"...A Muslim is not allowed to work in the American Army unless he intends to walk the steps of our Brother Nidal."

Awlaki goes on to ridicule US security failures for not recognizing the threatening nature of these e-mails that took place up to a year before the attack.

On a brighter note, it appears that Santa has been collaborating with our forces in Yemen: al-Awlaki was given his release from life's pain yesterday, courtesy of the US military.

Come on, Pilgrim. This doesn't fit the liberal template. Major Hasan just "snapped." At the very least, Hasan was justifiably provoked to murder 13 American soldiers. Perhaps, you would make amends by contributing to Major Hasan's legal defense fund. I am given to understand Hasan may spend the next 40 years with a bedpan as his only companion. Is this any way to treat a martyr?
