Handles or Names

I had hoped to go with handle but thanks to someone who uses their name as opposed to a handle and they throw others names aound in slander notes, mine too is open for all to see. That being the case let me introduce myself. My name is Shawn, I am a fleet owner with Express-1. I recently sold ground trucks to my daughter and son in law and am left with two expediters. I am adding a third as I type here and will be in that one myself. I have driven each of my other trucks for Express-1 and one other company before putting drivers in them. I drive each truck a while myself. I think I have about 15 years of experince in freight and trucking due to family trucking businesses, some of which are no longer. My sister and her husband sold the one they ran to build condos. I offer my help about freight finding, distribution, mapping and dependable local truck services to anyone needing that info. You can hear me speak on these topics here at my home in Cincinnati in a class room which is in my basement and if you have any interest in some training info on trucking/expediting I have some of that which I can offer on CD via Power Point presentation and I am working on a freight finding historical mapping program which I actually hope to sell one day. Sorry I recently shared this with others and with Scott at Express-1 so it is no longer really any hot new news. Well That is the Raceman Exposed and Uncut. Thanks for the note. I realize it is there if somone really wants it. Heck anyone can get anyones name if they want it. It is simply the idea behind a handle versus a name. People dot use a handle when they don not want the name just given out easily. No big deal. Thanks though I will check to see what else is on there maybe I will chnage it.

i would like to say THANK YOU to raceman for his continuing and unwaivering support. it is refreshing to see someone who will stick to their convictions even when it is not the popular choice.(similar to what our president has had to do).he is not the only one however. and for the other parties who have not spoken "publicly" i still appreciate your input and support on this position. and your thoughts are every bit as important.i do understand however people not wanting to be attacked as i and raceman have been.it takes someone with very thick skin to be able to be continually attacked and yet maintain professionalism at all times. everyone who supported the other side of our beliefs seems to be able to do nothing but insult and "challenge" the reality is MOST who have replied for the other party never even got to see the original post. so you have no idea what my "purpose" was. yet you claim i attacked or wanted trade secrets or am so unhappy. when in fact NONE of this is true. i came on and asked for facts on what was being openly advertised on here because with todays volatile market etc we are constantly having to watch the bottom line. so my quest for information and proof to claims about earning potential and load availability have turned into an all out assault upon mine as well as others character."trade secrets" i am not asking for i believe all parties involved here are all very intelligent and capable of figuring out how to provide.what should have been about a maybe 10 response post somehow turned into a 20reply thread which was removed and a follow up which was given way more latitude and yet we are all here and alive and none the worse for wear.in fact we never even got to any "your momma" or "your wife" type comments. i would ask though that those that "jumped on the bandwagon" (when never having even read the original post) not offer up their opinions since they have no facts and are strictly attacking "on behalf" of another. the exception being the driver for the other party whom was more than welcome to add something. (thank you) had the replies gone THAT way i would probably be debating making some changes. unfortunately it took a nasty turn. I WILL NOT APOLOGIZE for anything i have said ,as i neither came on here and attacked anyone nor did i escalate this to the childish level it got to. i do ask that people entertain the idea that in this type of forum it is our "freedom of speech" that makes this the best country in the world. and at the end of the day we are all human beings. flawed in many ways but most with good hearts and good intentions.i pride myself on not letting myself respond in a "less than professional" manner. i must truly be starting to make my decent down "the hill" because in younger days we woulda been brawlin. i have learned several things in the last 2 days. 1)everything is not what it seems on this board. 2) THERE REALLY ARE MANY FINE AND UPSTANDING PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD WHO ARE ABLE TO USE THEIR BRAINS IN A MANNER IN WHICH BEST DECIDE THE "TRUTHS" FROM THE "LIES" ALSO SEVERAL PEOPLE WHO I WOULD CONSIDER "FRIENDS I DIDNT KNOW I HAD". and for that a lil ray of sunshine emerges. GOD BLESS ALL OF US AND GOD BLESS THE USA. MAY 2005 BE MORE PROFITABLE THAN 2004 AND NOT AS PROFITABLE AS 2006! THEE GAMBLER
