I've just watched a National Geographic special about special forces fighting the Taliban. The atrocities the Taliban are responsible for are unimaginable. It's time to take the gloves off and just wipe them off the planet using every available resource to rid the world of the terrorists. Collateral damage will be sustained and that's just too bad but it's their fault and not ours. We've "played nice" for too long. It's time to resign from the Geneva Convention that says we won't do anything bad even though the opposition ignores it and does. It's time to revert to the Big Stick Convention and follow the bug principle that says squash them completely and exterminate all of them.

This has been my opinion since before 9/11. Clinton started the problem by letting them get away with too much for too long. Unfortunately, Bush hasn't been much better. The news reported tonight that a 14-year old girl in Afghanistan was killed by Taliban insurgents for going to school - they also killed her teacher.

We need to conduct the war against these Islamic Fascists with the same ruthlessness and brutality that we employed during WW II. These religious fanatics have a lot in common with the Nazis - they want to kill or subjugate anyone who isn't them. They promote strict religious teachings that theirs is the only religion allowable and that their race is superior to all others.

Unfortunately, until we get away from the Bush notion of the "kinder, gentler" politically correct war and let the military get down to business we'll continue to be considered a paper tiger by these miserable heathens.

We also have to vote out those in congress who dont believe we should be at war at any level.

We need to smear every one of them we kill with pig blood and leave the bodies, along with the pig body, as an example to the rest of what lies in store for them. They can't go get their virgins if their dead body is covered in pig blood. On the show I watched they saw a guy on a radio passing information to the Taliban. They couldn't find his radio once they stopped him. They let him go. They should have killed him right there and smeared the pig blood on him and left a message for everyone else saying you don't talk to the Taliban. They all must be exterminated.

I've been saying for a while now that we need to engage in a carpet bombing campaign in afghanistan and iraq. imo, we need to break thier will to fight.
