If you ever get the chance to spend some time in Plattsburgh, NY, be sure you spend a evening at Anthony's. The atmosphere is wonderful. There is warm wood everywhere, exposed beams and brick. Soft lighting, and many different seating levels.

The food is beyond belief, wonderfully presented, just the right amount. You leave feeling satisfied but not overstuffed.

They have nightly specials and very interesting menu. Their wine list is amazing with 337 selections.

Be sure to give this place a try sometime, you will not regret it!

There is no parking for large trucks. I would suggest you get a motel room with parking. Then you can enjoy that extensive wine selection!! We stayed at the Best Western, they have a FREE shuttle that will drop you anywhere in town and pick you back up again.

Also if your ever stuck at Chicago North TA go north about 4 miles to Highway 50 in Kenosha Turn left (west ) about 1 block on left Birchwood grill .Vans can park any where Straight trucks in rear on far side of parking lot. Many expediters have stoped here after learning of it on here about a year ago. They have a great menu salad bar and on friday nights all the fish soup salad you can eat for 12.95 including shrimp, beer battered cod , cat fish , and sometimes perch.The interrior is very beautiful .It is like a large log cabin with fire place. Great menu and great prices.
