Someone sent me an e-mail to my facebook that has a video of a panel that states that the Feds are funding the CIA to follow people on Facebook and monitor their personal items as well as their Friends lists. Anyone ever hear of that? Or is it just some BS?

I can't speak to Facebook, but it is pretty well known that the Fed gov has people monitoring websites that they feel are a threat to America..including what are thought to be "Patriot" sites, 2nd ammendent sites, survival sites, and alot more...

I belong to a site that has been monitored and the owner of the site has been contacted my "Big Sis's" Department of Homeland Security and demanded contact info for members because of their postings....he is the kind of guy that told them to pound sand...

Likely true. The USAF contracted software developers to create software that allows a user to manage ten separate personas for online surveillance of those posting "the wrong things." So you'll think you're communicating with Joe from San Jose, talking about the latest gummint outrage, and you're really communicating with a military intell person who's keeping a dossier on your radical beliefs and how you're a threat to 'Murica.
