I was at the local Cracker Barrel today, stuffing groceries in my pie hole when I saw a CD by the Gaithers. They are great gospel music folks. $11.99 .If you're interested they are probably available at all Cracker Barrels. I believe there were 12 songs on the CD.

Definately some good traditional Southern Gospel there. One of the lesser known things about me is that I actually sing at different places when I'm home, and I like some of their stuff. Gold City, Greater Vision, Cathedrals, etc are all good Southern Gospel groups.

I'm one of those wierd guys who has everything from Southern Gospel to Classical to Country to Metal in my CD case.. LOL.. gotta have music

There is a group called Acappella that does some incredible stuff. Their cd's from about a decade ago are fantastic. They do a lot of the old standard church hymns and they do it all acappella. Definitely worth a listen. Just some of their good stuff.
